Multipurpose Range Complex

Location: Camp Shelby, MS
Client: Mississippi Army National Guard

Polyengineering was selected to design a state of the art range complex for the National Guard of Mississippi. The design is for 6 tank trails, an access tank trail and target maintenance roads totaling 67,000 L.F., a range tower, general instruction buildings and utilities. This range provides collective training facilities for M1, M2, and M3 vehicles and attack helicopters. It accommodates platoon-level collective training exercises as well as individual and crew qualification training.

The target system for the MPRC-H is fully automated and self-scoring. The computer central console can independently program and control timing and exposure sequence of each armor and infantry target.
