Enterprise Sports Complex

Location: Enterprise, Alabama
Client: City of Enterprise

Polyengineering partnered with the City of Enterprise on the construction of a new sports complex located at the Johnny Henderson Family Park on Highway 167 North. The complex includes four (4) softball fields designed to meet all of the standard requirements for adult and youth softball tournaments. The facility has underground power, concrete walks and bleacher pads, team warm-up areas, a public address system an independent irrigation system, and covered dugouts. Each field has two-way phone communication between the dugouts, backstop, and scorekeepers. Each field also has an underground electrical supply at the pitcher’s mound to accommodate a pitching machine.

Featured in the center of the four softball fields is a three story building containing 4,300 square feet of indoor space. The first floor contains the concession stand, mechanical/electrical room, and public restroom. The second floor contains a large meeting/observation area, two (2) offices, a restroom, and an open observation balcony which also serves as a cover for the perimeter of the first floor. The scorekeeper’s area is located on the third floor.
